U.S. Imports: February Overview

U.S. imports experienced a 6% drop compared to January, with a more favorable trend expected as the sector enters its slow season. However, Descartes reported a significant 23.3% year-on-year increase. Despite the decline in imports from China, West Coast ports observed a decrease in import volumes, while East and Gulf Coast ports saw an increase, collectively accounting for 44% of total U.S. imports.
