Port of Virginia on track to have the deepest port on the East Coast

The Port of Virginia’s deepening and widening project will deliver the deepest cargo channels on the East Coast at 55-feet deep and up to 1,400 wide, important for accommodating larger vessels coming online. The renovated channel will be able to handle two-way traffic.
