Port of Charleston sets a new record

The Port of Charleston reported record cargo volumes in 2022. The port handled 2.8 million TEUs in 2022, a 1.5% increase over 2021. Construction is underway on a near-dock rail system that will increase port throughput with other impactful capital projects in the pipeline.
