EU reaches agreement on climate-neutral shipping

The European Union (EU) has reached agreement on the FuelEU Maritime initiative, which will bring shipping into the EU’s emissions trading system for 2024 and FuelEU Maritime for 2025. The initiative aims to put maritime transport on the trajectory of the EU’s climate targets for 2030 and 2050.
