From January through September 2025, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) denied entry to 5,806 imported shipments under the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), the highest number of denials over the same period in the past three years. Most denials were in the automotive and aerospace sectors.
While the overall shipment value was lower than in previous years, the proportion of shipments denied rose significantly.
