The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has issued a final rule, effective from January 23, to intensify sanctions against Russia and Belarus. The key provisions include the addition of 95 6-digit Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes to the list of those that require a license for export to, reexport to, or transfer within Russia or Belarus.
