Asia-to-U.S. Shipments Face New Fees

FedEx will reintroduce a $0.45 per pound surcharge on parcel shipments from China, Hong Kong, and the Philippines to the U.S., effective through May 2. UPS has also introduced a similar fee but has not specified an end date for their surcharge.
