Significant penalties for anti-boycott violations

The escalating conflict in the Middle East brings renewed attention to US antiboycott laws that prohibit US companies and their foreign affiliates from participating in unsanctioned foreign boycotts, including boycotts of Israel. The Treasury Department recently published its quarterly list of countries that require or may require participation in, or cooperation with, an international boycott.
