World’s largest container ship arrives in Antwerp

With a carrying capacity of 24,436 TEUs, the MSC LORETO arrived at Antwerp from Ningbo. This vessel shares the title of the world’s largest container ship with sister ship MSC IRINA – illustrations of MSC’s aggressive capacity growth plan. The Swiss-based carrier is on track to surpass 5 million TEU’s of global capacity.
