President Trump issued an Executive Order allowing additional ad valorem duties on goods from countries that directly or indirectly supply oil to Cuba, effective January 30.
While specific tariff amounts have not been announced, the Executive Order authorizes the Secretaries of State and Commerce to take necessary actions, including issuing rules and guidance, to implement the new tariff system.
