CMA CGM has announced that its INDAMEX service will now transit the Suez Canal on both fronthaul and backhaul voyages between India/Pakistan and the U.S. East Coast. This marks a significant step toward the return of container ships to the Red Sea.
While CMA CGM has committed to a full service loop via the Suez, other major carriers, including Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk, have not yet announced similar plans.
