The Port of Los Angeles saw a 4.7% increase in container traffic in March 2025 compared to March 2024. For the first quarter of 2025, TEUs rose by 5.2% compared to the same period last year. Gene Seroka, Executive Director of the Port of Los Angeles, emphasized the strong growth in quarterly volumes but also projected challenges due to tariff impacts, predicting a possible 10% decline in cargo later in the year.
