The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) has ratified a six-year labor contract with the United States Maritime Alliance. The agreement includes a 62% pay increase over six years for ILA members and grants limited automation rights for terminal operators and ocean carriers.
The contract will be formally signed by the ILA and the U.S. Maritime Alliance (USMX) on March 11.
