Expanded Minimum Security Criteria reveal potential vulnerability in the supply chain

For CTPAT partners validated in 2022, Agriculture Security proved to be one of the highest areas of non-compliance. The CTPAT Security Bulletin addressing Section 8.1 of the CTPAT Minimum-Security Criteria (MSC) covers Wood Packaging Materials (WPM) and container inspection requirements for supply chain stakeholders.

Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is a voluntary supply-chain security program led by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) focused on improving the security of private companies’ supply chains with respect to terrorism with the intent of protecting our borders from illicit and adulterated trade while facilitating legitimate trade.
