On April 22, the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) launched investigations to evaluate the national security implications of two categories of imports:
- Processed critical minerals and their derivative products here.
- Medium- and heavy-duty trucks, along with their parts here.
Stakeholders are encouraged to submit written comments, data, and analyses to BIS by May 16, 2025.
