Asia–U.S. West Coast Rates Slide

Container rates on the Asia–U.S. West Coast route have fallen 15%, reaching their lowest level since December 2023. Weaker demand and trade uncertainty continue to pressure the market. Despite a brief uptick in shipments ahead of China’s Golden Week, volumes remain down 14.6% year-over-year.
