C.H. Powell Company designed and installed its export documentation software.
As a result, updated versions are a regular, in-house IT process in response
to client needs. Our program allows us to capture in excess of one hundred
“events” that could impact a shipment. We use event reporting for monitoring
our own internal process, but also for measuring other supply chain partners.
Reports are available in a flat-file format via EDI for customer configuration.
- Among a number of service specialties offered by C.H. Powell Company is
the handling of exports licensed by the U.S. Department of State. We are
registered munitions exporters and registered munitions brokers / forwarders
serving an increasing client base with such regulated shipments.
- In-House software upgrades allow a search at time of document data entry
for firms and individuals that have been denied United States export
privilege. While there are information variances that can limit the accuracy
of data comparison, customer avoidance of export violation is enhanced by
our systems.
