Both import and export airfreight services for time-sensitive shipments are
available as an expedient alternative to ocean transportation. Our extensive
global network enables us to efficiently coordinate documentation from
departure to arrival at destination.
- In July 2002 our newest air freight office was opened at JFK International
Airport. The positive impact for customers will be felt at local and
network-wide levels.
- C.H. Powell Company is an active participant in the TSA Air Cargo
Research Program which provides an internet accessible “Known
Shipper” database. We have enabled our export program to accommodate
overseas consignees as “Known Shippers” where required by
regulation. Our interactivity with the TSA will provide direct exporter
benefit by expanding carrier option to “passenger” aircraft.
